Ordering & delivery
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide, with the exception of the USA. Some countries may have product-specific restrictions. These will be noted on the relevant product pages.
How long will delivery take?
We aim to dispatch your order within 1 business day. Our products ship from the USA, where they're made. Typical delivery times from dispatch are: UK 5–10 working days, Europe 5–10 working days, Australia & New Zealand 7–15 working days, rest of the world 7–15 working days. If you order more than one item they may arrive separately, with no extra charge.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout once you've entered your address — you'll see the exact shipping cost before you enter any payment details, so there are no surprises.
How can I track my order?
We don't currently offer order tracking. We'll email you to confirm when your order has been dispatched, and if it hasn't arrived within the expected window above, email [email protected] with your order number and we'll look into it for you.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel an order, email [email protected] as soon as possible — if it hasn't been dispatched yet we'll do our best to amend it. You also have a statutory right to cancel for any reason up to 14 days after delivery and receive a full refund — see our Terms & Conditions.
I had a problem placing my order — what should I do?
Sorry to hear that. Email our orders team at [email protected] or call +44 (0) 1481 233 370 and we'll help you complete your order. Full contact options are on our Contact page.
Do you offer multi-buy discounts?
Yes — buying a multi-pack works out cheaper than single jars or bottles, and means you won't run low between orders. Browse our multi-packs.
Payment, security & refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. You can pay with a card without needing a PayPal account.
Is it safe to order on your site?
Yes. All card payments are processed securely by PayPal, one of the world's largest and most trusted payment providers, and our site uses industry-standard encryption. Your contact details are held securely and never shared with third parties for marketing. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Do you store my card details? Will you charge me again?
No on both counts. We never store your card details, and we have no subscriptions or recurring charges — the only payment we ever take is the one you confirm yourself at checkout. You'll never be charged again without placing a new order.
What is your returns and refund policy?
You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order and return it for a full refund. For up to 6 months, you can return a faulty product for an identical replacement. To start a return, email [email protected] with your name, address and order number. Full terms: Terms & Conditions.
Using your products
How much cream do I use, and how do I apply it?
Usage instructions are shown on the relevant product pages. Also full step-by-step guidance for all of our cream products is on our Using Wellsprings Creams page, and in our free Natural Progesterone booklet.
How long does a jar or pump bottle last?
As a rough guide, a 60ml jar lasts around 10 weeks and a 100ml pump bottle around 4 months, following standard usage. It'll vary with your dose — if you use more, it won't last as long.
Which product is right for me?
It depends on your symptoms and whether you need progesterone alone or progesterone plus oestrogen. Our compare creams guide walks you through Serenity, 20-1, the Oestrogen Cream and Lifelong Care — or email [email protected] and we'll help.
What's in the products / do you list ingredients and allergens?
Yes — full active and inactive ingredient lists for every cream, the Face Serum and the capsules are on each product page. If you have a specific allergen question, email [email protected].
Safety & your health
Can I use bioidentical hormones with the pill, coil, IUD or implant?
These contraceptives contain synthetic progestins, which act on the same receptors as bioidentical progesterone, so the two can interact. If you're using contraception to prevent pregnancy, don't rely on our cream alongside or in place of it — keep using your prescribed contraception and speak to your doctor. If it was prescribed for another reason, bioidentical progesterone may still be appropriate, but please check with your doctor first.
Can I use bioidentical hormones during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
We do not recommend starting our hormone creams or serum during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless your doctor has specifically advised it. If you're pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding, please talk to your doctor or midwife before use.
Could Wellsprings products interact with my other medication?
If you take prescription medication — particularly other hormone treatments such as HRT or contraceptives, or you're being treated for a hormone-sensitive condition — please check with your doctor or pharmacist before using a hormone cream, so they can advise on your individual situation.
Are there any side effects from bioidentical hormones?
Bioidentical hormones are generally well tolerated. Some women notice temporary changes when they first start — for example a short-lived increase in “oestrogen-dominance” type symptoms as the body's receptors re-sensitise — which usually settles; there's guidance on managing this on our Using Wellsprings Creams page. As with any product, if you experience anything that worries you, stop using it and speak to your doctor.
About bioidentical progesterone & Wellsprings
What is bioidentical progesterone?
Bioidentical progesterone is identical to the progesterone your own body produces — unlike the synthetic progestins used in much conventional HRT. There's a full explainer in our Hormone Learning section.
Where can I buy Wellsprings products? Are they sold in shops?
Wellsprings products are available only from this website — they aren't sold through any shops, pharmacies or third-party retailers. Buying direct is the only way to be sure you're getting genuine Wellsprings products.
Is there research behind bioidentical progesterone?
Yes — there's a body of published research on bioidentical progesterone and hormones. You can read more in our Hormone Learning section.
