Used as additional oestrogen

For those already using Wellsprings Serenity or Twenty to One progesterone creams and whose flushes/night sweats and general symptoms are not being fully controlled.

A single pea-sized 0.5ml dose of Wellsprings Balancing Cream cream should be applied in the morning alongside your dose of progesterone cream to the same area of the body, following the same rotation regime as your progesterone cream. Each 0.5ml dose contains 1.7mg of estriol.

For vaginal dryness or atrophy

Apply a single pea-sized 0.5ml dose of Wellsprings Balancing Cream cream once nightly just before retiring, intra-vaginally. Use for 2 weeks or however long it takes to control symptoms and then gradually reduce to two or three times per week, at the minimum dose that maintains symptom control.

If post-hysterectomy use as for additional oestrogen. We recommend the addition of progesterone to protect tissues other than the womb, such as the breasts.

Oestrogen-only regime

We generally recommend adding a bioidentical progesterone cream, like Wellsprings Serenity or Twenty to One, to any oestrogen only regime, but if you wish to use oestrogen only please follow the usage instructions below.

A single pea-sized 0.5ml dose of Wellsprings Balancing Cream cream should be applied morning and bedtime to thin tissue areas of the body, avoiding the breast area. The best application areas are the abdomen, lower thighs and upper inner arms. Lightly stroke the cream into a different area each time.

For oestrogen-only usage, the cream should be applied in a four week cycle: three weeks of usage, followed by a week off.
